Frequently Asked Questions

  • I shoot on location all over the metro Atlanta area as well as in my home studio; 5946 Coatsworth Drive Rex, GA 30273. It’s about 30 Minutes south of Atlanta, GA in Clayton County.

  • We define a “look” as a change in wardrobe. The two most essential looks for actor headshots are a commercial look( brighter, happier, fun), and a more theatrical/dramatic look (moody, serious, deeper shadows)

  • The easiest way is to book on-line. Go to our Book Now tab and choose the session that best fits your needs. We battle Robo-Calls on an annoyingly daily basis. On-line or email is preferred. If you call, please leave a detailed message an we’ll get back to you after listening to be sure you’re not a robot.

  • 30 minutes to an hour on average. For each wadrobe change, we can easily shoot for at least 15-20 minutes.

  • A booking deposit curves last minute cancellations and no-shows. The closer we get to our scheduled shoot date and time, it becomes increasingly more difficult to fill that session time with another paying client. Collecting a nonrefundable booking deposit gives myself and my clients confidence that our shoot date and time will be honored allowing the both us peace of mind.

  • Cancellations are inevitable. Life happens. If you have to cancel, we ask for at least a 24hr notice. As stated above, a client’s booking deposit, is nonrefundable. One reschedule is acceptable without any additional fee. However, any other further rescheduling will require an additional booking deposit for a new rescheduled time and date.

  • Everything is automated though our Square Payment System at checkout. We accept most major credit and debit cards.

    For purchasing additional retouched images after your shoot, We accept Cashapp ($wesshots), PayPal/Venmo (@wesshots) ,and Zelle (info@wes-shots.com)

    We do not accept personal checks.

  • Your personal proofs gallery is posted 24-48 hrs after our session. You will then choose the images you would like to have professionally retouched by sending us the number under the photo by email or text.

  • No. It’s our policy to only release retouched images we’ve been commissioned to professionally edit. You deserve to look your best in every photo we provide. Accordingly, we only want our best work out there in the world.

  • You will have the retouched images back within a week of making your selection if not sooner. I want you to be able to put your images to good use as soon as possible.

  • Yes and no. By all means, please tell us if there’s anything you have a issue with in regards to the retouching. However, our retouching style is to keep a natural look. If it’s something on your face that will go away on it’s own, like a pimple, we remove it. If it’s apart of you and always will be, like a mole, we keep it. We’ll also never add anything that isn’t already there. Casting directors need you to look like your headshot photo when you walk into the audition.
