Licensing Meaning
When hiring me for editorial or commercial projects, you’re purchasing usage rights to the final, retouched images.
Ownership: Wesley Stanfield Photography retains full copyright as the creator.
License: You receive a clearly defined license for agreed-upon uses.
Protection: This ensures expectations are met on both sides and safeguards the work from misuse.

Editorial Use
For publications such as magazines, blogs, newspapers, and online features.
Images may accompany stories, features, or articles.
Credit: “Photography by Wesley Stanfield Photography LLC” required whenever possible.
Limitation: Editorial licenses do not include rights for advertising or promotional campaigns.
Commercial Use
For marketing, advertising, branding, and promotional purposes.
Covers websites, paid ads, social campaigns, print, broadcast, and out-of-home.
Flexible Options: Usage can be defined by:
Duration: 1 year, 3 years, or perpetual.
Geography: Local, regional, national, or global.
Medium: Print, digital, social, broadcast, outdoor, etc.
Exclusivity: Available at an additional fee.
Restriction: No resale, sublicensing, or third-party transfer without written consent.
Deliverables & File Formats
Delivered digitally in high-resolution JPEG suitable for print and web.
Additional formats (TIFF, PNG, CMYK-specific files) can be provided upon request for ad agencies, design firms, or print vendors.
Social Media & Publicity
Licensed images may be shared on official client channels.
Credit: Required for editorial publications; strongly encouraged on commercial posts.
Not Allowed: Proofs, unedited files, or screenshots.
Rates & Estimates
